The Little Girls Turn Three!!!

Is it kind of impossible for anyone but us to believe that this day actually happened? With our without twin A sleeping through the night! This post is months late, and the photos aren't great, but we had a really fun party with great friends, and the girls were in heaven with all the loving and kind attention they got from their guests. Our little Bunny Rabbit had said since Christmas that Santa had forgotten the rocking horse she really wanted (this was NEVER mentioned before the holiday, to J or to me) .. so we decided to give the girls rocking horses, playmobile, and a few other little things. A;; of which the totally LOVED. They now use the rocking horses to climb into and out of their cribs. Its awesome, bc now we can wait longer to buy toddler beds. The climbing is safer looking than it sounds. Thanks so much, C family, for sharing that special March day with us, and for making it so much fun.
Truly, the day of the twin birth is one of the most deeply burned into our memory, with all of its intensity and surprise. Nothing is more exciting than the birth of a child to a family who has been eagerly waiting, and to do that twice in one swing was just amazing. We are so grateful for our little girls.
At three the girls are talking non stop, and having lots of fun with friends, and at parks. Their personalities are as distinctive as ever. I do still feel like they're babies, but I have a feeling that that will melt off soon. Birthdays are just so much fun, and J and I love celebrating our little ones more than almost anything else. Happy Birthday to our precious little three year olds. We love you so much!
